In loving memory of Mette Margrethe Juul Brown who sadly passed away on 16th March 2024
It is with great, great sadness that our lovely Mum lost her brave, heroic and hard fought battle with cancer, passing away Saturday afternoon 16th March 2024. Typical to form, Mum made sure her family were around her and we are all grateful for that. And now heartbroken, we will sadly mourn the end to an amazing era and a very special, loving person.
There are no words to express how much we will miss you.

A huge thank you for your loving contributions to the Obituary, from lighting a candle, adding a photo, writing a message, attending the funeral and incredibly generous donations to MacMillan. Above all, thank you for the love and support in all these actions, this has meant so much to us as a family and in honouring our beloved Mum.
We were so lucky to have Mette as our neighbour and friend and really will miss her. She was so welcoming and full of fun! Stephy loved to visit for a chat and a Kit Kat and was so comfortable that she often went in before being invited (which I think Mette secretly loved!).
I didn’t know meddi for very long but I could see straight away what a loving caring person she was, and she loved her family very deeply. She will be missed so much ❤️

Mette was such a wonderful, kind and supportive friend to me and my children. I will miss sharing stories and her wisdom of experience and her warm, welcoming smile.
