Little brother to Tori & James, twin brother to Katie and much-loved son to Sara & Roy
Although you were only with us for such a short space of time, you have been through so much and touched so many people.
A brain tumour first discovered at the tender age of only 18months old. Blue lighted to GOSH for a 10 hour operation, followed by a year of chemotherapy.
After five relapses, 4 brain surgeries 3 courses of chemotherapy, proton therapy & radio therapy, causing numerous physical difficulties. You battled on, never once did you complain or lose any of your humanity, always looking to embrace and comfort others you thought less fortunate than yourself.
You took on the roll of guinea pig allowing the doctors and staff at GOSH to trial new treatments and document them for future training, despite the pain of these you still found time to smile and make the staff laugh.
Over the years you accumulated an impressive number of beads from Beads of Courage, each bead representing a procedure endured. You took great pride in these beads and proudly took to the stage one morning to explain all about them to a packed church. ( not a dry eye on the congregation )
As time moved on you had fun with the wonderful staff at Little Havens Hospice, who helped you immensely, even though you just thought it was great fun baking cakes, swimming and chatting.
That is why we have chosen to help Beads of Courage & Little Haven Hospice in your name.
You battled on year after year taking all that life threw at you. Never complaining, always putting others first, and still smiling.
Funeral & Celebration of Life Arrangements
We know that Jack touched the lives of so many, so this is an open invitation to all who would like to attend.
The ceremony will be held on Tuesday 26th March @ 3.30
