In loving memory of Helena Mary Pearce - Dobbins - Bartlett who sadly passed away on 24th October 2015. The Middle One of three daughters to her father and the eldest of two daughters to her mother. (her father's first wife having died during childbirth)

Helen was a character with unusual wit and light hearted approach to most things. During her school years she would think nothing of sliding down the bannisters at Kidderminster High School. and in later life repeating naughty rhymes along the lines of "The boy stood on the burning Deck" and another version of Jack and Jill.

Helen also had nick names for people expecially her carers - Miss Powick was the dog lady and Norman the Doorman

she was married to Fred Dobbins for 20 years until his untimely death from Cancer in 1963 and then remarried to a John Bartlett for a further 35 years. Fred was always in her mind in her later years as her first love.

Helen had two children Susan Mary Dobbins and Peter James Dobbins who together managed to give her 7 grandchildren at least and 4 great grand children. In Latter years confined to her bed Helen would always comment on how lucky she was to have all her family around her (looking at the room full of pictures)

In her middle years she always sent cards to everyone and wrote many letters, not just at Christmas and birthdays. she even wrote to The Queen, Elizabeth II and Margaret Thatcher both of whom replied.

Helen was always a believer and a committed Christian in her second phase - to be continued
