In loving memory of Andrew Archard who sadly passed away on 5th March 2024
Andrew was the fourth of five children. He attended Earls Hall School, Sacred Heart and Westcliff High School for Boys. He went on to Southampton University to study French and Philosophy. He married Amanda in 1971, while still at university. They have 3 children, Tom, Jo and Nick and 5 grandchildren.
Andrew taught French in the local area for nearly 40 years (20 years at St Bernard’s). His main interests were Choral singing, photography, Southend United, Maths and French and France. In retirement, he was a very active member of Leigh Estuary u3a and its first Treasurer. A very supportive husband, father and grandfather, sadly missed.
