In loving memory of Geraldine Vint (née Sloper) who sadly passed away on 30th January 2024.
Geraldine was born and raised in North Greenich, London on 19th August 1950 to Rose and Bill Sloper, and sister to Edward. As a teenager, she moved to Basildon, Essex with her family and met Gerald Vint. Geraldine married Gerald on 1st May 1971, and they moved to Southend-On-Sea, Essex where she lived for the rest of her life.
Geraldine was the proud mother of 3 children (Philip, Elizabeth, and Felicity), and grandmother to 8 grandchildren (Jessica, Rakesh, Chloe, Daniel, Peggy-Rose, Sachin, Freddie, and Betsy), and loved spending time with her family.
During her last days with us, Geraldine was looked after by Havens Hospices, Hospices at Home, and after their care and support, we wish to recognise their hard efforts looking after Geraldine with a donation in her name. I miss our Wednesday nights when Graham and Gerald went to 41 club. We put the world to rights and spoke about anything and everything laughing all the time. Your support when Amy was ill meant so much to me, more than you will ever know

Dear friends, we are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Geraldine. We knew sooner of later this awful day would be coming. Fond memories of dear Gerry, who, with husband Gerry was there for her close friend Daph and her boys when they needed her, and a close friend for many years. So very sad to hear the news of her passing, and send heartfelt sympathy to Gerry and the family. Daph and Gerry will have much to catch up on now they are meeting up again, and the good times will be recalled.
