I have nothing but lovely memories of coming round for tea where I was always made to feel so welcome and treated to delicious dinners. Sending love to everyone at this sad time xxx

On behalf of the Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation (DRWF), I would like to acknowledge your kind donations, given in memory of the late Dr A Das, who was a supporter of the charity for many years.

It was devastating to hear about the loss of Boro Dida/Mashima. She meant a lot to our family, and we will always cherish the memories we made with her. We will miss her a lot, and hope she rests in peace.

Our dear Anukadi is no longer with us. We will miss her warm companion & sweet smile. May her soul rest in peace.

Anukadi/Anuka Aunty/Dr Anuka Das has always been close to our heart, a great friend and considered a member of the family.

It was devastating to hear she had moved on from this life. We cherish our memories together.

She has too many virtues to list. As an example, she would bring compassion, positive energy and warmth everywhere she would go.

She has always been supportive, open-minded and inclusive of all - irrespective of one's age or background. The radiant smile and heart-felt concern for others would always be enough to help someone take a break from the complicated and busy world we can be absorbed in.

Her honest and genuine nature. She would bring a sense of security and instilling trust and confidence in others.

Naturally one of her legacies was creating a lovely family reflecting such wonderful values.

She will be deeply missed. Yet in the meantime, we will always remember her fondly.

Our love and thoughts with her children, son-in-law and husband.
