In loving memory of Jeanette Gooding who sadly passed away on 27th January 2024.
Jeanette was born in South London on 6th June 1942 the first child to Lillian and Francis O’Reilly. Jeanette was known for her beautiful ringlets as a child. Jeanette had two brothers Frankie and Jeff and she was a devoted big sister and daughter.
In 1961 she met Thomas Gooding a handsome singer in a local band and they went on to Marry on 6th April 1963 at St Marks Church in Kennington. In the early 70’s Jeanette opened her own successful Hairdressing salon and then Johanna their only child was born in 1973 and they settled in Maidstone buying the home they remained in until her passing.

My dear Auntie Jeanette, such fond memories, Shopping in Maidstone with Nanna Pippin Lodge, when I was a little boy, salon near Luton Arches.
Uncle Tom picking picking us up in his Ford Capri
You dropping off my Little Cousin Johanna at our house in Railway Street Gillingham so you could go to work.
The printers in Gillingham where Uncle Tommy worked and the free posters.
Xmass with Nana and Grandad, in Kent and at Fairlawn Cambridge.
