In loving memory of Janice Marilyn Phillips who sadly passed away on 14th January 2024. Janice was a loving and devoted Wife to her late Husband John and Mother and Grandmother.

She married her Prince Charming in Feb 68, where they had 2 Sons in Simon and Darren. Janice has three grandchildren in James, Josh and Georgia who she loved spending quality time with and who all loved and adored her.

Mum worked previously at Barclays in the City, then went to own a Hardware Shop with John in Thundersley and ended with Barnados in both Rayleigh and Basildon where she amassed many friends and still attended regular BROG's reunion at the Conservative Rayleigh Club

Janice retired in 1993 to become a full time career for my Dad who was needing more and more aid with his unfortunate disability. In all she cared for John for about 30 years in total with especially the last 4 years being a real struggle for them both with his many ailments.

The saddest thing is that John passed away 2 years ago and this should have been her time for her to live life to the full and start to enjoy the finer points of life. Although she missed John with every day that passed.

8 Months ago she underwent replacement knee surgery so she could be more mobile and so that she could spend more quality time with the ones she loved.

Sadly, Late July 23 she got news that would ultimately change all our lives for ever and would lead to a special person leaving us all in Jan 24.

As a family we are grateful for all the comments and kind thoughts that have been sent and we ask that instead of flowers that you consider donating to Brian Tumour Charity

Many thanks to you all for caring so much about our Mum , we know that she felt the same about you all.

Kindest of Regards

Simon and Darren
