In memory of a greatly respected colleague and friend on the Dover Magistrates Bench and Family Court. His wisdom and meticulous study of the evidence were attributes we all aspired to emulate. I treasure the memories of long periods spent in the retiring room when vast amounts of coffee and biscuits were consumed, whilst putting the world to rights! Simply, one of the best.

Mr Ruck was one of my favorite teachers at Astor in the lower building,he taught us english.Always a pleasure to be in his lesson,he was very easy going and great to get on with even though i wasnt one of the best pupils there.I can even remember his car,a green Vauxhall viva which he often gave a few of us a lift between the old and new buildings.A great teacher who always gave us time regards to our learning abilities.
