In loving memory of Jean Sabey who sadly passed away on 1st December 2023, aged 91 years.

Jean Knight was born in Sittingbourne, but moved to Rainham when her parents bought Knight's Stores on the Lower Rainham Road. After she married Raymond Sabey at Rainham Church in 1954, they moved into a bungalow in Rainham. For a while she worked at the Co-op, Elm Plastics, then SavaCentre in Hempstead Valley. She lived in their bungalow all her married life, only residing in a nursing home for the last 18 months. Her life revolved around her huge circle of friends and her family. Widowed in 2010, she had two children, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren who will all miss her very much. Jean was traditional, fun, generous, caring, mischievous, loving, bossy, and has left a void that can’t be filled. Rest in peace, love and laughter Jean.

Flowers may be sent c/o John Weir Funeral Directors, Rainham by 8:30am on the day of the funeral.
