I have fond memories of Uncle Mike from when I was a child - he was very kind and brought my comics and magazines from where he was working. I’m very sorry that he has passed away and my thoughts are with Aunty Jean, Sean, Lisa and their families.

Considering the number of aliments Mike had it always amazed me he was so cheerful. I always hopef that at some stage he would resume our Saturday movie sessions at my place, he loved a good war movie. Sadly that won’t be possible but I will miss his company, a compassionate and on occasion wickedly funny friend, safe journey

Farewell to a kind, genuine man who has always been an accommodating host. A great husband, father and grandfather to his family. I only wish I had more opportunities to have known him. All our love to Jean, Sean, Lisa & their families during this difficult time, Ian and Joan from Australia.
