In loving memory of Dorothy May Gomme.
Fondly known as 'Doff' to her family and friends.
Who sadly passed away suddenly on the evening of Sunday 29th October 2023, at Amherst Court Care home, Chatham where she had received marvelous care and attention and had resided for the past 19 Months aged 94 years.
She will be deeply missed by her loving daughter Jill and her son in law Clif.
Reunited with her loving husband John, who passed away in 2014 after 63 years of devoted marriage
No flowers please, but donations for Alzheimer’s society and or Cats Protection League, Bredhurst, Gillingham.
A graceful and lovely lady to end.

Doff was a wonderful lady, loved by everyone. She was inspiring in the way she continued to learn new crafts throughout her life and was not defeated by her age. She was always happy and looked on the bright side of everything. She will be greatly missed.

Sister Dear you were a truly wonderful and remarkable person. Being the eldest you carried the mantle from Mum and Dad with John beside with such Grace Pride and Poise. Like our Parents you were always thinking of others and striving to make things better. Holding out a hand if we tripped or faltered as we travelled along the Highway of Life.Even in recent times wishing Peace for all.
You will always be remembered with much Love and always have a place in our Hearts forever. Until we all meet again keep smiling xxx

Doff was a lovely great aunt, we used to visit her all the time as children, and as an duly her and John visited me in Sussex on a coach trip. I still have some of her patchwork quilts and other craft items xxx
