LONG Patricia Lilian 'Pat'
On 17th November 2023, passed peacefully away at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice aged 75 years of Bude. She was diagnosed in February 2023 with Motor Neurone Disease and it rapidly affected her whole body. She bore it with her usual grace and dignity despite great suffering. We are so grateful for the care and support she, and we the family, received for her last week of life at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice. They understood her pain and acted fast to help relieve it whilst also caring for her holistically in a calm and soothing way.
Pat had a good life with many hobbies and interests. She especially loved music, nature, travelling, her Christian faith and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Beloved wife of Jim, dearest mum of Matthew, Becki & Nathan, Stepmother to Simon & Judith, Mum-in-law, and a dear Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend to many.
Funeral Service at St Andrew’s Church, Stratton, on Thursday 30th November at 2:00pm.
