In loving memory of Wendy Pauline Ward who sadly passed away on 16th October 2023, aged 80 years.

Widow of her beloved Rod, a wonderful mum to Amanda and Max, and a loving grandma to Matthew, Hannah, Charlie, Joe and Amy. She will be greatly missed by us all, but she has gone over the rainbow to join Rod. Together at last.

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen and unheard.

Donations in lieu of flowers, in Wendy's memory, would be gratefully received for 'The Net Community Hub'. For further information, please visit the link on this page.

Dearest Wendy, she was always so caring, welcoming, thoughtful, helpful, and always worrying about others, even when she had problems of her own. She was married to Rod, they were so very happy together; she was the best thing that ever happened to him. She cared for him in every way, especially when he was so ill. She even said to us that she wished what was happening to him was happening to her instead. Now Wendy and Rod are together again, and are continuing to be happy once more. Wendy will be greatly missed by all who knew her. God bless her.
With all of our love, Howard and To.

Dear Wendy, I am so grateful that we were friends in this lifetime. You always had the biggest smile and the greatest sense of humour. When we worked at the solicitors together we had the best of times. I remember when I fell pregnant and wasn't sure you said "no, I didn't have that mumsy look". I was indeed pregnant with my first daughter. We laughed often about this. We also talked of Spiritual matters and connected on our love of angels and knew they are always with us throughout our lives. I know the angels are with you now Wendy and you are with your beloved Rod who I remember you calling your rock. Me and Noel will miss your kindness and warm and generous spirit as will many. You left an imprint on hearts wherever you went.

Dearest a unty Wendy, A much loved member of our family.

Always there to lend an ear and give advice whenever needed - well that’s if we could ever get through on the phone! A testament to just how many friends you had.

It was always great to visit as we knew we’d be greeted with tea and copious amounts of biscuits and cake! Then more cakes and biscuits to take home with us. The hostess with the mostest.

You were always kind, loving and interested in our lives, a true selfless person.

I know you have had a huge hole in your life without uncle rod, but now you have your wish to join him over the rainbow bridge. I’m sure you’re back to looking after him and cracking jokes together. Love always ❤️❤️
