Anthony Charles Eden (7 Mar 1947 - 17 Oct 2023)

Tony, I have known you for over 40 years, having first met you in the 70's when you became my trusted insurance man. You were our photographer at our wedding when Ann and myself got married in November 1982. Although Ann and I moved to New Zealand in 1986, we continued to keep in touch with cards at Christmas and letters with news about our families. It was a privilege to have known you and our thoughts and prayers are with Wendy and the family.

Tony, you were a huge character and I have fond memories as a child. I remember our holiday down to Devon, if you and Wendy hadn’t asked me, I would never have met Jody and made my family.

A memory I will hold forever is when my Dad’s funeral came round, you hadn’t long had your accident, I knew it took a lot for you to attend. You will never know what your “ello Lau” followed my the best hug meant to me.

Thank you for the memories and creating the most beautiful human being in Sarah. My oldest and best friend. I will do my best to support her in life like she does me.
