In loving memory of Carol Christine Butcher who sadly passed away on 4th October 2023 at the wonderful age of 80.
Carol was a much loved Wife, Mother, Stepmother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and, doggy Mum to Bubbles. She will be greatly missed by all.
Very sad to further announce the passing of our beloved Ron who died peacefully, surrounded by love, on 25th October and is now with his Wife, Carol.
We are so very proud of you Dad and love you so much.

Grandad Ron,
You are the most amazing man I have ever met!
I don’t think anyone can be as selfless or as kind as you!
I have the most amazing memories of you playing with me as a child! Riding me around on your back and flying me into the sky from your legs! I just remember us laughing so much!
Then you would try and help me with maths and try to teach me. My brain has never hurt so much but you had so much patience with me!
Always a highlight for sleeping round and going To Marks with you and Nan on a Saturday morning (so early) was that you would push me around in the trolly and be silly with me in Marks and then we would go for breakfast and I would always choose the same one as you!
I will always be thankful for everything you done for Dad! All the appointments you took him too!
You helped out with my children when Nan looked after them and I’m sure you must have got them Interested in maths as the love of that subject certainly did not come from me or Nan!
You are the best grandad anyone could ever ask for! I’m so lucky you are mine!
I know Nan was waiting for you and I know you wanted to join her! I’m happy you are back together!
You are going to be so missed!

Nanny Carol,
You are the strongest most caring woman I have ever met.
Even when your mood changed liked the wind the care and love was always there!
You done so much for me and my children!
You made your home a safe and caring place for me as a child! I loved sleeping over and having my hair brushed by the fire! Our trips to marks and breakfast after!
All of the boxing days at your home are memories I will cherish. All the yummy prawns!
Then I got older and started a family of my own and you looked after Olivia and William and done all what you done for me for them!
Olivia, William and Alexander are going to miss you so much and their treats they got when ever they came to your house!
I miss you so much already and really can not believe today I am saying goodbye to you! It does not feel right! I imagined you here past 100!
As sad as I am that grandad has come and met you I’m so glad you are together!
I love you so so much! Thank you for being so strong and formidable and rubbing some of that off on to me!
