I was too young to appreciate your important part in my life. Bored of shop work Pat and I decided to go back to college at night. This was to be so important to me and got me into university and to go on to jobs I didn’t know existed. To do this meant you had to leave your warm home twice a week and take and pick up Pat and I from college. Without that help I couldn’t have gone to college. You never complained about how disruptive this was for you or the cost of petrol. And I never thought to say how grateful I was to you, and for your support for pat and me, which got me on to a great journey. So thank you. You served your family and their friends so well. Oh, and thank you for all the dinners and the loads of bread I ate. I was so hungry.
Go in peace with love and gratitude from a grateful teenage and now a lot older woman. You will be missed by all your family
Denise

Dorothy what a wonderful mother in law you was, thank you for your help and support over the years. If I could have chosen a mother in law it would have been you every time. Thank you for the lovely memories we made over the years. You will be greatly missed Dorothy, you can now rest in peace. All my love Julie.
