I was so saddened to hear of Paul's passing. A true gentleman and a very dear friend to my mum and dad. I have many fond memories of Christmas day at Paul and Valerie's house where Paul would 'play down' the winter wonderland he had created in their conservatory. RIP Paul. You will be missed. My thoughts are with all the family at this very difficult time.

I will always miss you grandad, you were the most selfless, caring and thoughtful man and I feel so lucky to have known you. I will miss our phone calls, our shopping trips to m&s, your special syrup pancakes in the mornings, your stories, messaging you and laughing with you. I am so glad I have those memories forever. Although i wasn’t able to see you as much as i’d of liked to because of distance it never changed the amount of love and admiration I had for you, you taught me so much. You always made your house feel like home to us all and it will never be the same without your kind heart.
Love you always xxx

Thank you for being the most amazing Grandad, and for giving me some of the most amazing memories I will cherish forever. I will never forget my trips down to Waterside and all the partying at boomers, I never wanted to leave when mum and dad would come to pick me up, I would run around and lock all the doors!! Our last Holiday to Austria is something I will always remember and hold so close to my heart, it was so magical to spend it with you and Granny over Christmas. Thank you for being so supportive of all my travels, I will miss telling you all of my endless crazy stories. Your kindness and intelligence is something that I will never forget and will always look up to. I feel so lucky to have had the most loving, incredible Grandad. You have forever inspired me. Love you always xx
