It is with utter sadness we announce the death of our wonderful Dad, Barry Gregory who sadly passed away, at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday 9th September 2023. We take comfort he now is at peace with our lovely Mum Pam and dear Sister Laura. May they all Rest in Peace.

Family and Friends will be contacted with details of Barry’s funeral once arrangements are finalised.

Donations can be made in Dad’s memory to support "The Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust" and can be made on-line via this page. More funding and research is needed to help find a cure for this cruel, awful disease.

Our Dad touched the hearts of many in his lifetime and brought love and laughter wherever he went. His heart was pure gold.

Please feel free to share your photos and memories for our Dad on here.

Love Siobhan & Emma xxxx

Barry was a big man with an even bigger heart. He looked after and loved our lovely sister Pam all her life. We will miss him so much. He was a real family man and had a wicked sense of humour. He’s with Pam and Laura again. God bless Barry RIP. Love from Marie and Siobhan.. xxxx

Donation in loving memory of Barry Gregory who suffered from this terrible condition. I will always remember Barry’s quick wit and his laughter. He was dedicated to Pam throughout her life and his three daughters Laura, Siobhan and Emma. I was in awe of his capacity to care and love his wonderful family. Making sure his granddaughters were looked after following Laura’s unexpected death. The many memories of Barry caring for Pam and surrounded by his girls will keep him in my heart forever.

Such fond memories of the man behind the moustache!
Uncle Barry was the first silly adult in my life and even though I knew he was an excellent police officer he was always the man who made everyone laugh out loud.
So grateful to have known such a great man.
Love to all the memories that we all have of him.
X

We are so very sad and shocked to know that Barry has died . What a lovely son he was to Marion and Tony ( our neighbours in north london) . I will miss his jokes on face book, they always made me laugh and sometimes groan ! He was so very proud of his family and loved you all so dearly . 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Barry, such a genuine colleague which always had a smile on his face, (and if he didn’t it was because he had a trick up his sleeve). Rushing into the CID office at Chatham one day on the run up to Christmas telling us to get over to Sainsburys in the Pentagon where they had frozen turkeys at half price because they had lost one leg in the processing 😁

This is a very sad loss for everyone, such a genuine, funny man, everyone loved Barry's humour, he was really a class act. He would take great pride when talking about his girls and grandchildren. Sympathy for Siobhan and Emma and the family. A great character who will be missed by everyone..
