Sheila Hartharn (23 May 1938 - 27 Aug 2023)

I was so sorry to hear today, rather belatedly, of Sheila's passing. I moved away from Dorking in 2015 and lost touch but we always exchanged Christmas cards. I worked with Sheila at Mole Valley for many years in the Clerk's Department and also lived near her in Chalkpit Lane for a long time. She was a great person to work with and good fun and so I am she sure will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. My condolences to you all x

When the cool breeze touches you, know she is free.
When you feel the sorrow of being apart,
Know she is not lost; she is part of your heart.

I will always remember our happy school days and all of our enjoyable coffee mornings in recent years.
We will miss Sheila so much. There was always lots of laughter whilst in her company.

Always present through our childhood. Then later,such a wonderful friend to my mum. I used to love getting the chance to sneak in to join you all at Fothergill's. xxxxx
