On 4th September 2023, peacefully in hospital, of Mirfield, aged 100 years, Nevil, dearly loved husband for 71 years of Mary, much loved dad of Julie and Paul, very dear father-in-law of Linda, beloved grandad of Daniel & Charlotte, Elizabeth & Jamie and Natalie and proud great grandad of Mylie, Ruby, Marley, Alvin, Darcy and Beau.
Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Tuesday 26th September 2023 at 2pm. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of the Forget Me Not Children's Hospice.

First ever Christmas of my life without you Grandad 😭Everything always feels so much harder at Christmas time, Miss your face so much. I have got your photo next to my tree. I hope your having a whiskey up there ❤️ Never a day goes by your not on my mind & this Christmas will be so hard without you but il make sure we talk about you on Christmas Day because we all know how much you loved Christmas especially opening your present! My Dearest Nevil, we are all so devastated to loose you ,such a special part of mine and all my children’s lives i’ve known you since i was 17 years old we have shared so many amazing and beautiful memories together thankyou Nevil for been the best grandad to my children and grandchildren i will be forever grateful not to mention honoured .
