In loving memory of Donald Arthur Fowler who sadly passed away on 26th August 2023
Dad was born on 15th January 1928 at Eastwood in Essex, he had 5 siblings. He met our lovely Mum Eileen at a ‘dance’ and they married in 1955, moving into a new bungalow on their wedding day, this was to be where they lived for the rest of their lives, Dad passed away in the same home 68 years later.

We got to know Don all too briefly via our neighbours Paul & Lee. Our first meet was the final of the European Championship, July21 when they invited us and Don to a BBQ. It was lovely to meet Don, shame about the result! And of course to get to know him there after!

We only knew you for a short while, a little over 2 years, a neighbour, who soon became a dear friend.
We have so many fond memories and will remember you for your caring nature, your sense of humour, cheeky laugh & THAT twinkle in your eye…
It was an an absolute honour & privilege to have known you, such a Gentle Man, rest easy lovely friend, we love & miss you…

I'm so sad that Don didn't get to see Spurs playing their best football for years under Big Ange and that, on the day of his funeral, they were Top of the League! Rest in Peace Don and keep cheering on the boys from above.

Thank you Janice and apologies for not getting to chat to you about Spurs yesterday ..as you say it was quite amazing that they were top of the league for Dad’s day yesterday...it would also be quite something if they could somehow manage to win it this season for him, however unlikely! Fingers crossed! Graham x
