Dear Edward, you are now at peace after a long period of poor health. On numerous times, you made it clear to those closest to you, how much you felt indebted to the NHS and the sheer hard that the staff put in to get you back on your feet on a number of occasions. We all take the NHS for granted sometimes, but you never did. Typically, like two old men are inclined to do, you and I used to compare our ailments, our medications and our aches and pains. Thank goodness we got through that stormy day on your very last gig. I hope that you are providing joyous entertainment up above, with many of those who are no longer with us here. RIP old buddy.

To Eddie - thanks for all of the good times we had, Switzerland (Zurich and Grindelwald), numerous UK tours, Cornwall and Dartmouth, fishing in the pouring rain and doing BBC sessions. You crammed a lot into your life - way more than the average person. Then again, you were never average in anything you did. Thanks for your precious friendship. God bless you Ed, and Rest in Peace. 'Til we meet again. x

RIP Eddie, I was so sorry to hear of your passing, a massively sad loss to your many family and friends: I am so pleased that we caught up again in the last couple of years and shared some great memories of the Dartmouth days etc.. THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC XX
