In loving memory of Harrison Owens who sadly passed away on 31st July 2023.

The details of Harrison’s funeral have been confirmed and are as follows:

H’s funeral will be held on Friday 1st September at 10:00 at St Augustine’s Church, 70 St Augustine's Ave, Thorpe Bay, Southend-on-Sea SS1 3JQ. Inside the church will be for close friends and family only. If you do wish to pay your respects to Harrison we kindly ask you to stay outside where there will be speakers covering the audio of the service. Due to the nature of Harrison’s funeral we ask that no children are to attend.

Harrison’s close friends and family are invited to join us at Basildon Crematorium, Church Road, Bowers Gifford, Basildon SS13 2HG which will commence at 12:30. The crematorium is by invite only due to limited capacity, so those who are invited to attend will be contacted separately from the initial message with the link to this page. We please ask if you have been invited to the crematorium that you make your way straight there after the church service and not follow the hearse as we do not want to delay the proceedings.

We would welcome all other attendees that have been invited to the church to join us at Harrison’s wake which will be held at The Cliffs Pavilion, Station Road, Westcliff-on-Sea, SS0 7RA straight after the church service. Those who have attended the service at the crematorium are welcome to make their way to The Cliffs Pavilion after the service.

Dress code is smart / black.

We kindly ask for there to be no photography or videography during the Church service or the Crematorium service.

Harrison’s wish was to ask for contributions towards supporting Kennedy’s future rather than any flowers at his funeral. Any contribution is gratefully appreciated. Please click the link on the right-hand column of this page, which will take you to the fundraising page.

Please kindly RSVP if you have been invited so we are able to keep track of numbers.

Best wishes, Jasmin

I always remember how fascinated you were with tractors and all you kept saying as a 2 year old was digger, digger, driving your poor mum mad 🤣
Your humor, passion and love for life and thrills will truly be missed by us all and mum and dad were so proud of you and how you stood by everything you believed in.
The best thing you ever did though was marry beautiful, strong, kind and courageous Jasmine and have little Kennedy as we will be able to see you in your beautiful daughter as she grows.
We are all so proud of you and will remember you always.
All our love Michaela, Simon, Flo, Freddy, Matilda and Gabriel xxx

Harrison, you were an amazing young man, who always had a smile and time for others. You excelled in everything you did. The love you had on the water you helped share that passion with others by your teaching and caring. Always in our hearts. RIP Harrison.
