Louise. If our roles could've been somehow reversed, you would've been my role model: spirited & fun, organised & competent, supercook, inventive & intuitive, devoted, supportive, interactive mum & wife, hospitality personified... and you made my son (Ed)very happy. But I could never read your writing! Xx

I wish to share an anecdote, it is one that I feel sums Louise up perfectly.
It was my birthday, we had booked a beautiful cottage in the Cotswolds to celebrate with friends, our meal was booked for 8pm.
We had about an hour or so to get ready...
Anyone that knew Louise, knew that when she dressed to go out, she was a bombshell, totally radiant and stunning. Today was no different.
We all met in the hallway, admired each others efforts, grabbed some brollies and headed outside to walk to the restaurant.

The rain had subsided but there was still evidence of the heavy downpour eailier, there were giant puddles of water sitting snug by the kerb of the winding road. The road was wide but the puddles were perfectly placed as though they were inviting the motorists to drive through them. We all stayed well clear.

Except... Louise.
Louise waited by the deepest puddle, threw her arms in the air and shouted 'SPLASH ME'.... The next car of course oblidged.

Louise was soaked! but now even more beautiuful.

We were all laughing so much on our way to the restaurant that our sides hurt.
Louise thought nothing of it, she dried herself off with a couple of loaned restaurant towels and we all continued to enjoy the night.

Louise was always such fun.

Louise you were an angel and my sanctuary. Hilariously funny and the kindest friend.
You are an inspiration to how I intend to spend the rest of my time here.
God I'm going to miss you.
Until we meet again, I love you xx

So many wonderful memories of you Louise ❤️ Too many to put in this space…🤗 your homemade blackcurrant jam, but the marmalade was my fave. Thankyou. I’ve kept the jar u made it in and I shall fill it with a candle and light it thinking of you. Not that I need a candle lit in order to remember you. ❤️

Lou you are the kindest, fun person. You made me a fantastic cdj shaped cake for my 30th and dressed as a clown for my 40th! We have amazing memories from our clubbing days that will never be forgotten and nor will you be as you enriched the life of everyone you met. Until we dance together again...xxx
