In loving memory of Dave Campbell who sadly passed away on Friday 2nd June 2023 aged 85 years.

His passing is a great loss to his family and all who knew him. He was a much-loved partner, Dad, Grandad, Brother, Uncle and friend.

We would be pleased to see as many of his family, friends and acquaintances at The Vale Crematorium to join us in a service of celebration for his life followed by raising a glass in his memory at the wake afterward. Details can be found on this page re. the date, times and venue.

Our Dad loved life and as such we're encouraging you to wear bright colours on the day if you are comfortable with that. We'd also love to hear your stories and memories of him so please feel free to leave them on this page. Thank you.

There will be an opportunity for you to lay a single rose on his coffin as this was his favourite flower. If you would like to do this, please bring one along.

The coffin will be leaving from Cheryl's house at Solway Road North if you would like to see him off from there.

If you would like to send flowers please have them sent directly to:-

Dave was the amazing father of my best friend mellisa, I grew up having the pleasure in sharing in this family who showed me love and care .Dave was always smiling and happy and treated me like one of the family so much so I called him Dad and Jenny mum. I was taken on holidays and spent endless hours at their home until it felt like my home I never wanted to leave.
I will always hold him dear to my heart and he will never be forgotten and I will for ever love him and thank him for the kindness he showed me. RIP and sleep well Dave Aka Dad ❤️xx

My Uncle Dave was the brother to my mum( his sister,) who also passed away at the age of 85 in July 2021.
As brother and sister, they were like peas in a pod, with that special mischievous twinkle in their eyes. They were both always the life and soul of the party, and could set any dance floor a light with quick step and dazzle move..

Uncle Dave, was everything that life had to offer, he was full of fun and laughter and knew how to party.
I will miss him dearly, but I'll take comfort from knowing that he's now reunited with my mum and their dancing the night away up beyond the stars, resting in peace.
Love you always, your nephew Junior xx

I always remember Uncle Dave a/k/a Uncle Raleigh as I addressed him when I was younger. He would visit my Mom. Daphne Campbell Leslie in Nottingham. Whenever he was around it was always fun and laughter. He reminded me of a movie star because he was always well-dressed and walked with confidence and swagger.

May you rest in peace Uncle Raleigh
From your loving Neice Sandra Leslie-Newton
