My darling boy, Roy, passed away on 9 May 2023, aged 47 years old.
Born in Kirkby to his parents June and Mick, he was the fourth of their children and was born on Christmas Day 1975 - the first child to be born in Nottinghamshire that day. Later in his life, he welcomed his younger sister to his mum.
He had six children, his eldest being 23 years old and his youngest child, who is 7 years old. He also has a partner named Katie.
His funeral is on Tuesday 30 May 2023, at 2pm in the Kingsway Cemetery for interment, followed by a celebration of his life with family and friends at the Coronation Club, Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
All who knew Roy will be welcome to attend his service and reception afterwards - please wear what you like, but especially England football shirts, scarves and hats etc.

I'd not know u long but u was a kind caring man who message me at night to say my Dad was ok although u was dealing with ur own problems I am forever grateful and was a pleasure to have met u love to Katie and family
