Margaret Mills (15 Jun 1928 - 9 May 2023)

At Mum's funeral cousin Lesley told me that dear Auntie Edwina said a few months before she died 'I have had a lovely life". It reminded me of something lovely that Mum had said in summer 2020 that I wrote in my diary. It was when we were able to visit more regularly after the easing of some lockdown restrictions.Mum said 'I have been so very lucky really. All those lovely babies and being able to do the things I like. I love flowers and music and have good friends and I've got a very lovely family. We are so proud of all our grandchildren. They are so clever and so beautiful'. Mum would have been 95 today Miss you Mum xxx
