Our condolences to all family members. We first met Mike (as we knew him) in the mid-1970s when we joined CAMRA. Mike was one of the founding members of the Surrey/Hants Borders Branch (then S.W.Surrey) and we first encountered him at the long-lost Bull's Head in Guildford. His gruff and distinctive voice were as much of a feature as his IOM Steam Packet Company tops. We joined him at pubs and beer festivals and an occasional trip to the Isle of Man but unfortunately lost touch when he left Surrey. Although he enjoyed a good and fairly long life, it's sad to lose such a great and likeable character. Rest in peace Mike.
