McCARTNEY HERBERT (Herbie) Died 5th May 2023. Peacefully at hospital, late of 16 Lawnbrook Drive. Beloved husband of Ellen, loving father of Gary, Lyndsey and Michelle, father-in-law of Rab and devoted granda to Demi-Lee, Gary, Ryan and Katie. Funeral service to be held from his home (address above) on Tuesday 16th May at 8.30am afterwards to Roselawn Crematorium for 10am. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Cancer Research c/o Stephen McCosh Funeral Directors 117 – 121 Shankill Road, Belfast, BT13 1FD. Will be sadly missed by his loving family circle. God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered come to me. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
