Sorry to hear about Les. I knew him from Crowbro Rotary club from 1980 until the mid-1990s when he moved away to Hawkhurst and I lost touch. He was a great help to me and allowed me to use his workshop in Herne Road to sign write vehicles that I could not get into my garage. He also allowed the Rotary club to build carnival floats in his workshop – the most memorable being the half size Spitfire! Good bloke!.
