Our dearest Joe was a true original. A fantastic musician, a cheeky charmer, and a warm-hearted and generous spirit, whose unique and easy presence touched everyone he met. His stories, jokes and love of life have left us with a wonderful legacy of memories.
Joe was the beloved husband of Christine, loving father of Ella and Alice, and grandfather, “Grumpy”, to Emily and Frank. He was also a dear brother to Simon, and his late sisters, Angie and Judy, as well as uncle and great-uncle to his many nephews and nieces.
Joe is greatly missed by his family and his many friends, far and wide.
We would like to thank the wonderful medical professionals who greatly improved Joe’s quality of life over the last few years and who loved and cared for him. Special thanks must go to St Catherine's Hospice for helping to make Joe's death exactly what he had wished, quiet, peaceful and at home.
