In loving memory of Sheila Christine Hotard. She sadly passed away peacefully at home on 3rd March 2023 with two of her sons at her bedside.

Sheila's four children invite all family, friends and those that helped care and support her at home to her funeral and committal. Please join them to celebrate her life at the Luton Vale Cemetary Chapel. Sheila would not have liked people coming in black but dress as you feel appropriate. Afterwards the family welcome and hope as many as possible will join them following the funeral service for refreshments and a buffet lunch at the Brache Beefeater to share memories of Sheila.

Flowers are welcome or you may wish to make a donation to the "Blossom Project". A group of volunteers who supply support and companionship to end of life patients. They spent time with Sheila in hospital. Their Justgiving page for donations is: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/the-blossom-project

(Also if you could indicate attendance on the button below it would be helpful to family to estimate numbers for catering) You are also free to write messages, post photos of Sheila or light a candle.

Nan, so many happy memories including going to car boot sales as a kid, coming to your house to play N64 and with the toys under the stairs, taking you to Florida to swim with dolphins and dropping in to yours for tea in a china cup and always with a biccy. Thanks for giving me a love of hunting treasures & finding bargains. Love you, you’ll always be in our hearts. Xxx

Was with sadness that I received the news of your departure. I have in my heart the most beautiful memories of you, always smiling, I was supposed to be the one caring for you but most of the days just having a chat in the morning after shower and breakfast was the most happy and safe I used to feel all day. You were more then a Client from a care company, you were a friend that I missed for the past year and that I will save in my heart forever. Like my grandmother from the UK. A family I dint had with me. You were that. THANK YOU ❤❤❤

I already miss the long chats we had remembering old family stories. We found a lot to laugh about. With all her health problems she was a very brave lady. She really was a strong link with my father's family

I loved stopping by for a doorstop chat with Sheila when we were neighbours. She was such a lovely lady and always looked so fabulous! Lots of love to all the family.
