On 18th February 2023, with family at her bedside, Doreen passed away with peaceful dignity, she was 84 years old. Now re-united with her beloved husband Ken. Doreen was the proud and loving mum of Ondrée Dean, Mandy, Dawn and Christopher, dear mother in law of Graham and Jay, a wonderful grandma and great grandma and a dear auntie.
Funeral service will be held at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Wednesday 15th March 2023 at 12.30pm. Friends please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium. Flowers will be received or if preferred donations in her memory may be made online or sent to George Brooke Ltd., for the benefit of the Kirkwood.

Our grandma was and still is the most loving cari g woman anybody would ever meet. Grandma loved her Catherine Cookson on a Sunday afternoon, our grandma loved to spend time with family and go out for a meal we have so many memories of her it is unbelievable. You are now beside my grandad and you are going to get the send off you deserve grandma. I love you gazillions as we say. You mean the world to me xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
