In loving memory of Alan Ponder (Wint) who sadly passed away on 17th January 2023

Alan (Wint)
lived a wonderful life sharing his best moments with his family and his grandchildren.
He loved his holidays every year with all his family. He was the life and soul of a party always joking, sharing happiness and more importantly he always made time to listen to others and always gave non biased and the best advice to all his family and friends.
Unfortunately Wint was diagnosed with COPD 10 years ago at the time we didn’t know much about this awful disease but Wint learnt to cope with this in his own way.
The last 3 years have been particularly hard for him, resulting into his final year being a battle which took its toll on him.
But Wint being Wint giving up was never an option.
He was loved by so many, will be forever in our hearts and will be missed so very much.

Pauline & Margaret Show team donated £40 in memory of Alan

I didn't know Alan that well but worked with him and he was a lovely friendly guy ,you don't meet many of them in your lifetime but I had the pleasure of meeting him.
I booked a weekend in Rochester for both of them I think it was for their anniversary, my wife and myself met them in the afternoon and had a few drinks in Wetherspoons and then an Indian afterwards I wouldn't do that if I didn't like the person lovely man truly missed.

If there is a god then there’s definitely a bar in heaven. See you there one day for a drink you gorgeous man, and as you got there before me, the drinks are on you. X x x
