Marny Hinson aged 66, unexpectedly passed away on the 3rd of February in GWH after a short illness. Marny was preceded in death by her husband Ray only ten days before.
A darling wife to Ray Hinson for 38 years and was devastated terribly by the loss of him.
Marny enjoyed many crafts, and she was successful with anything she turned her hand to. She was also an animal lover and together with Ray they adored their dogs. Marny was a beautiful person known for her generous nature, she wanted nothing more than to help others in any way that she could.
A much loved mother to Melanie and Erin and sorely missed grandmother to Josh, Lottie, Immy and Ava.
A joint funeral service with her husband Ray Hinson will take place at Kingsdown Crematorium 9.30am Friday 24th February.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired to Swindon Hydrotherapy pool and may be sent c/o Pearce Funeral Services would be appreciated.

Sending my love to the family. I knew Marny and Ray from being friends with Melanie at school. They both welcomed me into their home when I went for sleepovers or visits. They were a lovely couple and I feel saddened to hear of thier passing. All the best to Mel and the rest of the family during this difficult time, I know what its like to lose a mum ❤
Love Katy

  • Love to you, your family and your dad Katy. I loved our time as kids. Your mum and dad were indeed welcoming, kind and great fun to be with. I'll never forget those times. Xx

My Beautiful Mum

My Beautiful Mum
A Lady with the biggest heart
So kind, so giving, so selfless

Whilst you are now in God's Garden
You will forever be held deeply in my heart
And cherished always

You were, as I often told you, a great Mum
The happiest childhood memories, always warm and glowing

I miss you so much
And how I wish I'd hugged you more
I'm hugging you always now Mum
Hugging you in my heart
Which I always did of course

You are free now Mum
Free from the pains and restrictions you lived with in recent times

Your spirit is free and flowing and loved in the company of Dad and others long passed.

I love you Mum

Always
