I’ll miss you grandad everyday.
I’ll miss popping down to see you, watching darts and snooker with you, eating biscuits with you, sorting out your telly for you and you thinking I’m a genius because I can retune it.
I’ll miss listening to your stories, you always asking if my car is still running fine and how you were always impressed that I could reverse down the drive.
You were truly one of my biggest supporters and no matter what decision I chose to do, you supported it and I knew I had you in my corner.
I always felt like we had a proper special bond, we had so many jokes and laughs and I could always count on you to build me up when I needed it.
You were the best grandad I could have asked for and I’m already going round telling everyone how much of a legend you were. I know you weren’t a fan of tattoos but I hope you like the one I got for you, just so I can have a little reminder of you to look at everyday and remember how special you were (still are) to me.
