A message from Lucy – Tonys Daughter

Anthony Chalk or as most people knew him “Tony” sadly passed away on Sunday 22nd January 2023

Dad aged 62 was a true warrior who fought even in his last days to beat the cancer.

Dad spent a large part of his life working at Spend & Save. This is where most people knew dad from best. Dad stayed working as Manager of the shop until 2010. For as long as I can remember dad has done Toy Shows where he made many friendships and memories.

After leaving South Normanton Dad and his Partner Tracy moved to be by the seaside in Cleethorpes where they spent many happy years before moving back to Mansfield to be closer to family

Dad will leave a huge hole in many people’s lives more than I think he could ever imagine!

I was so sorry to hear the sad news, just today. I've known Tony for many years, around the toyfair circus, and he'll be sadly missed. But the photos here say it all - Always the big smile and cheerful positive outlook, even in the bad times. RIP Tony.
