On 13th January 2023, whilst in the safe care of Fieldhead Park nursing home, Mirfield, residing White Lee, Batley, aged 80 years, Val passed away peacefully. Much loved mum of Yvonne and Jane, grandma to Dan, sister to Sylvia and Roger, mother-in-law, aunt and valued friend to so many. Val dedicated her life to nursing and caring for others. Ward Sister at Batley and Dewsbury, she was respected by her work colleagues and friends alike.

Friends please gather at the church. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Val may be made online or sent to George Brooke Ltd., for the benefit of The Yorkshire Air ambulance and Dogs Trust. Please do not feel obliged to wear black to the service, colour would be very much encouraged and welcome.
