Our beautiful Mum, Janet Suzanne Neal lived a wonderful life for 55 years.
A little about her... Sadly she lost her own mother when she was just 3 years old and went on to grow up in the care home in Rugby where she talked of the other children like family. Mum became a young mum at just 16 and made it to the papers! She was a fun and adventurous mum which is memories we will forever hold. Mum loved re-homing and loving things that other people disregarded, this would become her love for re-homing dogs, enjoyment of charity shops and boot sales, as well as the extended friends that would be invited along at Christmas's that became like family.
Mum enjoyed a short career of caring for others when her health allowed her to and when it didn't... she looked after her family and neighbours with her baked scones.
Mum could be described as funny and having a sense of humour.... AKA as "Gangster Granny" by her beloved grandchildren.
Mum was inpatient and liked to spontaneously make plans such as our trips to Margate as children, however she always liked to surprise us and watch us having fun.... she also loved to sunbathe at the beach.
Mum was a stunning lady and she put weight on due to medication over the years, she lost the weight and her confidence grew once more, to the point she was passionate about her clothes and never dressed like a woman in her 50's... age was just a number!
Mum was caring and often made friends very easily whether it be Scunthorpe, London, Birmingham or Rugby, mostly from just the smile on her face and her down to earth nature.
Mum was married three times during her life up until around 2013 where Mum chose to enjoy the single life.... her favourite saying to us was "you have to learn to love yourself before you allow anyone else to love you" which is so true.
Sadly Mum lost her Dad also 5 years ago.... I know that she will be at peace with them both and her brother now.
Mum had sheer strength and determination to fight for what she believed in... she is a legend that will never be forgotten.
Mum loved of her four children, always and eternally.

Mum, I have so much to say and I will still speak out loud to you. It won't be the same without your honest response or us sat with our cuppas tho. I will love you forever and promise to share memories and your pictures often with your grandkids so that they grow up knowing all about you. Today is about you and I hope you are with us and feel how loved you truly are. Love your biggest baby x
