In loving memory of John Percival Kilner who sadly passed away on 12th December 2022.
Born on the 5th June 1935, in Waterway Street, The Meadows, Nottingham, John was the son of the late John Percival Kilner and Ada Mary Ann Kilner (formerly Warren).
John is survived by his son Roy Kilner, and his wife Midori, his daughter Janet McCann and her husband John, his 5 Grandchildren Nicholas (and his partner Molly), Angela, Kotono, Dylan and Fujika, and his 2 Great Grandchildren Luka and Joey.
John struggled to cope with the passing of his wife, of 60 years, Doris, in July, and spent the past 5 months in and out of hospital. He left us, peacefully, to join Doris , his parents and his older sister, Chris.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

John has asked that everyone wears something visibly red, in memory of the red cap he wore during his cricketing days.

A gathering will take place after the funeral at The Pear Tree Hotel, Ripley, for light refreshment.

Your passing was so sudden & sad, and you will be missed. At least your suffering is over, and you can now be with Doris once again. Rest in peace dad.
