The love of the same music, clothes/style and woman my sister knitted us altogether. Thank you for the laughs and leg-pulling. You have raised your family strong to deal with your passing. You will always be Jelly and Uncle Jel to me and mine .

You’ve been a constant in my life since the day I was born, a cherished friend not only to my parents but to me too.
I am lucky to have a lifetime of wonderful memories of you and because of you, of us all as kids, bbq’s, caravans, holidays, christmas’, birthdays, drinks, dancing & not to mention us painting those flats together.
Forever in my memory, heart & garden. Stace x

I've spent a long time trying to find the right words to put here but have come to the conclusion that there are not any to say even a fraction of what I want to. The only ones that seem appropriate are simply Thank You.

Thank you for all your advice, support, love and guidance over the last 33 years. Thank you for welcoming me into your family and treating me as one of your own. Thank you for creating the greatest human I have ever met. Thank you for all those hours putting the world to rights over a beer and keeping me honest when it needed to be said. Thank you for supporting our family when we needed it the most and being a loyal and devoted friend to my parents.

And of course, thank you for all the truly awful jokes that you subjected me to.

As you always said, the sun always shines at 4pm in Gillingham and when it does I will think of you with the fondest memories.

Rest in peace Gel x

Rest in peace mate.

We knew you for exactly 7 years. You made our transition to Gillingham so welcoming as our neighbour and friend. You taught us so much and our kids and grandchildren loved you as much as we do. There will never be another Roger. Thankyou for everything our dear neighbour, fix it man, story teller, plant parent and all round good man. You are missed deeply. Xx

We could never have imagined that 32 years ago when our children became friends that it would be the start of a special relationship between our two families. We have shared and supported each other through the highs and lows in our lives. We have many wonderful memories of the numerous holidays together and feel blessed to have known such a caring family man who we shall miss greatly.

I will miss your cheery “hello mate” as you came in the gate, cup of coffee in hand. Our chats and time spent in the garden, so many memories over so many years, never forgotten.
I will think of you Gel when I’m in my garden
