In loving memory of Michael Clark who sadly passed away on 9th November 2022

Nicky Johnson donated £50 in memory of Michael

Sending all our love and thoughts to our beautiful family in England from Nicky, Bruce, Connor and Byron in New Zealand. We have been thinking of you constantly since hearing the incredibly sad news, and are so grateful to have spent time with Uncle Mike when he visited NZ, and with the whole family on our UK trip in 2018. The time with Uncle Mike and Aunty Lynn feels even more special to us now, and I remember that even in hospital Mike's sense of fun and humour still shone through. He always managed a joke and a laugh, and these are the qualities I will forever remember him for. Uncle Mike was incredibly proud of his family, and having spent time with you all it is obvious to see why. He was surrounded by so much care and love, and this must have been a huge comfort for him. We like to think he's now reunited with his beloved Lynda and looking over you all with a smile. Even though we are a long way away, please know we are with you in spirit and sending all our love to you all at this incredibly sad time. xxx

John Clark donated £50 in memory of Michael

It’s still hard for me to realise that my younger brother has passed away. Even though it was expected, it still came as a shock. We would have the occasional ‘FaceTime’ chat over recent years and in spite of his deteriorating health, his sense of humour was always evident. A nurse would enter the room and give him pills to take, one time a little blue one, which he couldn’t resist joking about of course. It was always good to know that he was getting the best care and that the family visited frequently. He told me a while ago that he ‘hoped’ to one day be reunited with Lynda and I like to think that now he has. My thoughts are with the family in England as I grieve with you at this very sad time xx

Paul Clark donated £50 in memory of Michael

Loads of love to the family from Paul in New Zealand. I was too young to remember Uncle Michael when we emigrated to New Zealand but was lucky enough to spend some time with him when he came here on holiday on 2011 with Aunty Lynn, Uncle Robert and Aunty Silva. My lasting memory of Uncle Michael from that time was his bright smile, cheeky sense of humour and laughter. It was so wonderful that we had that brief time together as a family and that I got to see what a lovely man Uncle Michael was. The New Zealand family may be a long way away but we are all there with you sending our love and thoughts xxx
