In loving memory of our dear Dad, Luigi Panzanella who sadly passed away on 12th November 2022.
Dad passed peacefully at the age of 91 and now will be reunited with our dear Mum.
A wonderful man with a wicked sense of humour and a devoted and loving father and proud Grand and Great Grandfather to Jodey, Lauren, Gemma, Luisa, Grace and Fin
You will be so sadly missed by us, your family here and of course by your family in Italy.

Grandad, I’m so grateful for all the time we got to spend with you, listening to all your stories (& very silly jokes). I will always remember how you used to try and joke with Fin when he was little, but it would scare him and you found it so funny, you always had the best sense of humour. We are so lucky that we got to spend all our younger years visiting the house in Italy each year, those are memories I will treasure forever. You will be forever in our hearts and I will miss you so so much.

Forever proud to call you my granddad and grateful to have so many happy memories with you that I will always cherish. It’s lovely to read messages from so many people who loved you and knew how funny, caring and sharp you were (and handsome!). I know that your family meant the world to you, and you meant the world to them in return. The family house in Italy, where dad was born, which was built by his father. This was where mum and dad were at their happiest in their later years and because of them we also have so many wonderful memories there.

Thinking of you all at this very sad time. We have wonderful memories of Pat and Luigi visiting us around Christmas time every year. It was a joy to welcome them into our home and we have many happy times to remember sharing with them. Equally, visiting them in Benfleet, we knew we were very welcome when we saw Luigi's face light up when we arrived. The Italian hospitality was abundant. We will always hold in our hearts the happiness he had around small children, his laughter and jokes. Although we cannot come to the funeral, you will be in our thoughts and prayers every step of the way. All our love to you all Margaret, Terry and family xx
