In loving memory of our beautiful baby girl Eden who sadly passed away aged 6 months. Our gorgeous girl was born after an uneventful pregnancy. Eden had a tough start to life with breathing difficulties & hypotonia and she went straight to the neonatal unit. It was there our baby was diagnosed with an extremely rare chromosomal deletion resulting in global developmental delay & moderate to severe disability. Eden also had a heart defect which meant she would be susceptible to respiratory infections. Eden had visual & hearing issues as well as low muscle tone. Despite all this she was one tough cookie & fought off several bouts of viral infections and frequent hospital stays to be with us. As time went on her infections became more frequent with her heart failure until she contracted pneumonia & sadly passed away.
Our little girl was our warrior princess and she taught us many things about this life. She taught us to love fearlessly & fiercely and grounded us in the enjoyment and importance in the simpler things in life like a cuddle or a kiss. She taught us strength, patience and bravery that we have never & will never know again. We love & miss her deeply & cherish her time with us for eternity xxxxx

Yesterday should have been a happy day to celebrate your first birthday, instead we were mourning the fact you are no longer with us. We are left with a gaping hole in our hearts & lives where you should be. The pain of your loss doesn't get any less and we miss you so so much. We long to cuddle & kiss you and hold you close & tell you just how much we love you. Happy birthday baby girl-your with us always wherever we go xxxx

“Grief is like the ocean; it comes on waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.”

How true that statement is. Love & miss you & think about you all the time. It doesn't get any easier xxxx

I often wonder how high and how far the balloons have gone and I hope that you are flying high and enjoy playing with them all as you watch down over us.
I look up at the stars at night and remember the times we spent with you and the love that you brought to us all. We will keep remembering you each and every day until one day we meet again.
Always in our thoughts princess xxxx
