My Dad

My Dad - You lit up rooms, brought joy and jokes, contagious laughter, you filled my heart, my home!

You considered, you cared, listened with intent and remembered all detail, returning to enquire how things had moved on.

You made us feel special, important, wanted, needed, loved. You had a way that left everyone you met feeling this too.

My default fixer, repairer, taxi, security, comforter, guide. My advisor, sounding block - my drive me mad - opinionated Dad!

You had answers to my questions, always had a piece of something that would fix…an unconditional love for us all - Dad you could find this hard to say yet expressed in so many validating ways! I knew your love Dad! I hope you knew mine!! So proud, my cheerleader.

Thank you for my yesterdays, my lasts, my memories - I cherish and hold every single one in my heart forever!

My Darling, my dearest Dad, my everything, our all…with the heaviest of hearts I let you go, I love you forever and always will! 🤍💔

"Hello Tim" were the first words you said to me from upstairs Stan, 28 years ago... you acted as my Dad, with open arms, an open house and occasionally an open bottle of red! Devastated seems insignificant. I cannot allow myself to constantly look back, ponder on the past and feel desperately sad... I am determined to reminisce, celebrate and be grateful for the 28 years of knowing Stan and every emotion that brings to mind ... I hope you are at peace, Love you from your Son Tim. xxx
