Sonia Marisha Anderson (26 Feb 1969 - 7 Aug 2022)

In loving memory of Sonia Marisha Anderson who sadly passed away on 7th August 2022.
Sonia was a loving, kind, hardworking mum daughter sister and grandma.
She adored her grandchildren 2 boys and 2 girls, and was always spoiling them.
Sonia was life and soul of the party, if you couldn’t see her then you could definitely hear her with her infectious laugh!!
Sonia travelled the world far and wide
In 2017 Sonia received the diagnosis that she had stage 4 Cancer, but not once did she let that defeat her.
She would wake up, get dressed and always applied that bright lipstick, tackling the day head on.
She never once let Cancer get the better of her. She was such a positive person and made the most of her life.
3 years ago she found her sister Margaret and loved the idea of being a big sister “only by 15 days”
She was also a Aunty to a niece and nephew, Jenna and Ethan
Sonia and Margaret hit if off straight away like they had known each other for years
They loved a shopping trip, a bite to eat with a cheeky glass of wine (a bottle) and a holiday away together.
They made so many memories to treasure in the short space of time they has together.
Sonia found God through a friend taking her to heart church in Nottingham on Easter Sunday 2 years ago.
She later got baptised in November 2021 and had the most amazing day!!
She was truly blessed and her faith and strength had a big part to play in her life.
Sonia was taken to hospital at the end of June as she was experiencing severe pain and numbness. After 7 weeks in Hayward house, she sadly lost her battled with cancer in August 2022.
She will be missed by many, loved my many, and will leave fond memories in friends and families heart’s forever.
