In loving memory of Victor Isaacs who sadly passed away on 15th July 2022, aged 77.

Victor Isaacs was a cricket scorer and statistician to Hampshire County Cricket Club from 1975 to 2005 (31 years) and served the Army Cricket Association and Combined Services/United Kingdom Armed Forces Cricket Association for a total of 60 years, scoring his first game in 1962 until 2019 on his retirement but continued to act as their statistician.

He was also a former football referee and, alongside his son Richard, watched many games of rugby across Hampshire, watching the county side alongside Tottonians, Havant and Portsmouth amongst many others.

Victor was a hard working man, throwing himself into any task that was given to him ... or he would volunteer his services to. He had been secretary of Romsey CC, treasurer of Calmore Sports Club, the first ever results secretary to the Hampshire Cricket League and even served on the board of the local Jewish Community group. He was never shy of putting his hand up to offer help.

Dad's funeral will be taking place at Southampton Crematorium on Thursday 18 August 2022 at 14:30hrs (2.30pm) and afterwards for refreshments at Calmore Sports Club at Loperwood Park.

Dearest Richard & Rachael
I am so sorry but I won't be able to attend your Dad's funeral, which had been my intention.
I know how important your Mum and Dad were to you both and Richard, your own relationship with your Dad was indeed very special because of your shared love of all things cricket and rugby.
I shall be with you in spirit my friends and sending all my love and strength as you say your last earthly farewell.
Remember, he has not gone .. he has just gone ahead.
Much love to you both and of course Nathan too 🤍

RIP Victor. A quality cricket man who greatly cared for the game. All at PCC were thankful for your regular visits. Proper scorer who helped changed the professional approach to it. God Bless
