What a lovely man, always a joy to talk to and listen to his recollections of the Merchant Navy in the war and working for IBM in Toronto in the 1950s. Always reminded me how he was unable to get into the bathroom caused by my sleepover behind the door after Steve's stag do.

R.I.P. Ron, one of my earliest memories is of dancing the Highland Fling with him at Sue and Steve's wedding, when I was four years old. He had time and patience for everyone. A lovely man and a full life lived with a large and loving family.

We are saddened to her of Ron’s passing. Charles and I have always had a special place in our hearts for Ron and Jean. Ron was about as fine a man and person that we have known in our lives. He will be missed. Being that we live in the USA, We are so sorry that we are not able to attend the funeral. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jean and her whole family. God bless you all.

Happy times in Devon with the family. After living in AUSTRALIA all my life this beautiful man uncle Ron welcomed we with open arms and Owen too. Beautiful soul. We will miss you.
