Mum was born in 1937; she was one of 8 sisters and 2 brothers who were mostly bought up at 58 Southwell Grove Road in Leytonstone.
Mum met Dad at her sister’s 21st Birthday party in 1956, where Dad was playing his double bass in the band. They were married in 1958 and spent 50 years together until Dad’s death in 2006.
Mum was much loved and will be sorely missed by myself and my brother Tony, our wives Jan and Claire, her 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and all who knew her.
